Lorraine was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler, where she served on the St. Ann Altar Society and the Mission Society. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader. Lorraine enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, spending time at the cottage in Rhinelander, traveling, gardening, fishing, reading, needlework, crafts, collecting Hummels, and spending time with her family. Guehna, 66, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, December 19, 2013 at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. James was born on August 2, 1947 in Sheboygan a son to the late Robert and Arlyn (Zame) Guehna. He attended schools in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. After graduation he was employed at the Kohler Company before he enlisted in the Army. He served his country doing two tours of duty in Vietnam. Upon his discharge he returned to the Kohler Company and was employed there for 44 years until his retirement in 2009. On June 13, 1970 he was united in marriage to Nancy Najacht at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR races. James was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. James is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy; a son, Allen (fianc Dee Vias) Guehna of Wyoming; his daughter, Jennifer (David) Koenig of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Taylor and Amber Koenig; his brother, John (Bonnie) Guehna of Sheboygan and his sister, Ellen (Derek) Morgan of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was also an active member of the Friendly 149'ers Homemaker Group in Manitowoc County. Helen is survived by her eight children, Peter (Maryann) of Ada, Andrew (Connie) of Town Meeme, Susan (Ric) Puls of Ada, Tony (Teresa) of Chilton, David (Stephanie) of Hawaii, Ivan (special friend, Mindy) of Germantown, Linda (Marco) Mesa of Oregon, Kevin of rural Kiel; 18 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandchild, one brother, Louis (Mildred) Wiegand of Town Centerville; one sister, Jeanette Karsteadt of California; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
